Maureen Mulvihill Appointed to Kish Bank’s Regional Board

STATE COLLEGE, PA – William P. Hayes, Chairman and CEO of Kish Bank and Kish Bancorp, has announced that Maureen L. Mulvihill, Ph.D. has been appointed to the Kish Bank Centre County Regional Board. Mulvihill is President, CEO and Co-Founder of Actuated Medical, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of medical devices located in Bellefonte. With more than 13 years at the helm of Actuated Medical, Mulvihill possesses robust entrepreneurial leadership experience, for which she has been recognized nationally and internationally.

“We are very pleased to welcome Maureen Mulvihill to our Regional Board in Centre County,” Hayes said. “She is a true leader and innovator, as demonstrated by her continued success in such a highly competitive and fast paced industry. She will undoubtedly bring a valuable perspective to Kish Bank’s Centre County leadership.”

Mulvihill has received national and international recognition for her entrepreneurial leadership more than 30 times. In 2017, she served as a U.S. delegate to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India. The same year, she was appointed to the AdvaMed Accel Board of Directors to represent small emerging medical device companies. She was then elected in 2020 to the overall AdvaMed Board of Directors, where she serves alongside larger medical device companies, including some at the Fortune 500 level.

Mulvihill earned a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering, a Master of Science in Solid State Science, and a Ph.D. in Materials from The Pennsylvania State University. She is also an alumni of the competitive Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
