Fraudulent Kish Alert Texts and “Spoofing” Calls

Please be vigilant in recognizing fake text messages designed to look like a transaction alert from Kish Bank, as well as “spoofing” phone calls impersonating Kish phone numbers. Do NOT click any links sent to you via text message, and please respond to all unsolicited contact by calling us directly at our published number, 1-800-981-5474.

Kish has been made aware of recent fraud attempts in which individuals have received text messages designed to look like a transaction alert from Kish Bank. These text messages include a link to a website NOT associated with Kish, attempting to get the recipient to follow the link and divulge sensitive information. Some individuals have also received phone calls impersonating (“spoofing”) Kish Bank’s phone number.

Be on alert and remember that Kish will NOT send you text messages with links asking you to input information, or call you and ask you to divulge sensitive information on the phone call. Always respond to unsolicited contact by calling us directly at 1-800-981-5474 or another known Kish phone number.
