Fraudulent Kish Alert Texts and “Spoofing” Calls

We have seen a recent increase in fraud attempts in which individuals have received fake text messages designed to look like transaction alerts from Kish Bank. These text messages include a link to a website NOT associated with Kish, attempting to get the recipient to follow the link and divulge sensitive information.

Some individuals have also received “spoofing” phone calls which impersonate Kish Bank’s phone number.

What to Do:

• Do NOT click any links sent to you through text message, and never provide your Digital Banking password or security questions/answers to anyone who contacts you.
• Respond to all unsolicited contact by calling us directly at our published phone number, 1-800-981-5474, or another known Kish Bank phone number.
