The Federal Bureau of Investigation has warned consumers of an ongoing text and voice messaging campaign that has malicious actors impersonating senior US officials to target individuals into disclosing bank account information. The FBI reminded consumers not to assume all messages claiming to be from a senior US official are authentic.
