PRESS RELEASE
MIFFLINTOWN, PA – Kish Bank ceremoniously cut the ribbon on its new Mifflintown, Juniata County branch on Thursday, June 5, with community members, Kish Bank Regional Advisory Board members, local elected officials, and representatives from the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce in attendance.
The new branch, located at 4215 William Penn Highway in Mifflintown (next to Weis Markets), is Kish’s second Juniata County location and its first full-service branch. The 2,300 square-foot facility features a full-service teller pod, lobby, offices, and a conference room to provide consultative services for consumers and businesses across all of Kish’s lines of business, including banking, mortgage, insurance, wealth management, and employee benefits consulting. Kish’s new ATM + Live Banker technology, which connects customers to live, local bankers during expanded hours, is also available at the branch.
Kish Bank’s Route 35 micro-branch, located at 55 Parkside Court in Mifflintown, will continue to serve customers from this convenient location. This branch offers a concierge lobby and ATM + Live Banker services and is also home to Kish Insurance, which offers a full range of personal and commercial insurance solutions.
Both locations will be led by Tyler Hutchinson, AVP, Branch Manager, who has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry and has served as a Branch Manager for Kish since 2022. Caleb Shertzer, VP, Commercial Banking Market Leader, who has been with Kish since 2015, will continue to lead Kish’s business banking sector for the Juniata and Mifflin regions.
At the ribbon cutting, Kish Bank President and CEO Greg Hayes commented, “This moment is especially meaningful as it coincides with Kish Bank’s 125th anniversary—a milestone that reflects not only where we’ve been, but where we’re headed. Since 1900, we’ve remained rooted in community, driven by relationships, and committed to improving the lives of those we serve.
The opening of our new Mifflintown branch is a proud continuation of that legacy. It marks a reaffirmation of our deep commitment to serving the people and businesses of Juniata County with highly personalized, community-focused financial services.”
Hayes continued, “At Kish, our mission is simple but powerful: to achieve sustained success through an unwavering focus on fulfilling our clients’ financial needs. We are committed to improving lives—for our customers, our team members, and the communities we serve. This new branch reflects that commitment, and we couldn’t be prouder to call Juniata County part of our growing story.”
