Kish Bank and Giv Local’s Community Gifting Program Directs $64,000 to Local Nonprofits in Fifth Year

How this unique community partnership is making a big difference as it grows

STATE COLLEGE, PA – Kish Bank and Giv Local are proud to share the latest results of their Community Gifting Program, which recently completed its fifth year of providing dedicated financial support for community nonprofits. In its fifth year, the program directed a total of $64,475 in donations to 133 community nonprofit organizations, with nearly 200 local businesses participating in the program. 

Kish and Giv Local’s Community Gifting Program gives Kish Bank business customers the ability to “gift back” to local nonprofits of their choosing at no extra cost to them. By using Kish Bank’s debit and credit card payment solutions powered by Giv Local, a portion of processing revenue is donated annually to the business’s chosen nonprofit. These recurring annual gifts help support the critical work of local nonprofits in the communities of Central PA, increasing each year as the program grows in scope. The overall impact of the program over its five-year history now totals $189,570.
